Tivoli Gardens August 3, 2015August 3, 20151 Comment Tivoli Gardens is the second oldest amusement park in the world. It’s fantastically quaint, located just a few minutes from Copenhagen Central station. The Peacock Stage. Tivoli also hosts many international artists. We just missed Snoop Dog! But were just in time for this peacock’s performance (^-^) Lil D had to work her way up to the big rides. But even those who are disinclined to ride get a pretty walk. D Daddy was all about the big ones. The park opens at 11am so plenty of time for a big breakfast. You’ll need it. Lil D could’t stop for a second. So eager was she to see what was next. There’s a lovely mix of rides for the whole family, but height restrictions do apply. Entry is free with the Copenhagen Card or 99DDK for anyone over 8. Under 8s go free. Rides are extra. Each ride has a ticket value. Most are worth two or three tickets. You can buy your tickets at one of the many screens in the park. We recommend buying the Multiride option as opposed to the ride tickets – it works out *much* cheaper. We easily spent 3 hours on the rides. Forcing our wee dote to stop for lunch. Only a candyfloss and a little rain could convince her to leave. Build-a-bear on the way out (or in) and our dotes day was complete. Highly recommended.
